A peek into our morning:
The children learned about their own growth through having us measure their height in inches. (Please excuse us for any incorrect calculations!) We asked them why some of their clothes are getting tight.... were the clothes shrinking or were they growing?
We loved getting to play outdoors on this gorgeous day. From looking at the Weather App. they were aware that today was a much warmer day than yesterday!
We got to make challah, play and experiment with building new things.

Also, we made beautiful hand-painted cards and envelopes for Hilary. Everyone worked very hard on them. Later each child dictated something that he or she appreciated about Hilary.
Hilary was thrilled to celebrate her birthday in school. She was literally beaming throughout the morning. Many thanks to Hilary's family for sending in yummy cupcakes!
We were getting ready to start our Shabbos party. When Hilary stepped away from the table, Sara suggest that we give the Shabbos mommy job to Hilary because it was her birthday. Chayla got up and found Hilary's crown -- she ran to get it so she could put it back on Hilary's head.
Such good friends!
