Numbers Numbers Everywhere

In the pictures above our friends counted the numbers on the paper and put the amount of candles on the number.

In the art center Hilary, Peretz, Dalya and Sara used the play dough to make different Chanukah things. They even came up with a pop-up dreidel! 

In the dramatic play the children make a pizza party using the play pizza.

The children used the straw connectors to build different things. Peretz made a snake. Dalya and Sara made a cube.

Colorful Patterns

We started learning about patterns. The children used the dreidels to make different types of patterns.

Chayala and Elet used the blocks to make the Bais Hamikdash.

At the art center we did a color by numbers coloring page. The children had to find the number that matched that color to bring the picture together.

During outdoor play our friends made letters out of mulch. Peretz made a P for Peretz.

Chanukah is in the Air!

In the picture above Sara copied the different Chanukah words she saw on the paper and wrote them on the white board.

 During morning meeting we went around the circle and shared one thing we did over Thanksgiving weekend.

 At the art center we started preparing for Chanukah! The children cut dreidels out of construction paper and decorated them with different fun thing to hang up in our classroom.

Outdoor play!

Fun Day

 Hilary, Elet and Peretz made a mountain using the different things at the sensory table. 

 In the picture above the children painted leaves and branches for our Thanksgiving center pieces!

Today we had a visitor come from the dentist. She explained to the children how to keep their teeth healthy and clean. She also brought a dog named Biscuit. She gave each child a turn to brush his teeth.  

Thanksgiving

 Peretz and Elet enjoyed playing with the bird food at the sensory table.

 The children continued working on their Thanksgiving project. We rolled rocks in different colors of sand as the next step!

 Chayala painted a beautiful picture of a menorah for Chanukah.

 Sara and Hilary made a Doctor's office out of the magna tiles .

The children hung up the mitzvah notes that were brought in. Please continue to send in mitzvah notes so we can continue filling up the tree.
