Nechama Leiba and Chayala made a cave using the couch chairs. Nechama Leiba said that bears live in caves...

 Our friends cut pomegranates out of paper and filled them in with red tissue paper, markers and red stickers. 

Our friends got to look and taste the fruits of Israel today in honor of Tu' Bshvat!

  

The children learned about another artist today. This artists name is Jackson Pollack. He was famous for paint that splatters onto the canvas and looks cool when it was finished!

The children did a great job!

Please note :The children might still have a little bit of paint on their feet.

Tu b'shevat is in the Air!

 We started talking about Tu b'shevat which is tomorrow! The children made the Sheva Minim (the different fruits of Israel) out of clay.

Mendel made an olive

 Today we had the honor of having Peretz's Bubby come into our classroom and read a book called Mommy's Heart the story is called "Sometimes mommy is busy".

She went around and asked the children whats something you see your mommy busy with?

Elet said: Laundry

Sara said: Washing the dishes

Nechama Leiba said: Cleaning

Hilary said: Cooking 

 Peretz wrote his hebrew name using the blocks
