Writing Practice

For sign in today the children wrote their names. They had the option of writing it in upper case or lower case letters.

 The children practiced their writing skills by writing thank you cards to their friends.

 We checked the weather and then found the number on our thermometers . It was 14 degrees!

 We picked the letter S for Sender... The children came up with a lot of S words then each child came  to read the words on the board.

We experimented how to use Monet's impressionistic style.

  We had fun making pictures with chalk, paint, oil pastels and watercolors. 

We painted the snow and then took chunks of colored ice out to use for painting.

Today we celebrated Tu B'Shevat by eating fruits that grow on the trees.

 We sang and pretended to be trees waking up from a long sleep.

Yesterday we spoke about different shapes. The children drew shapes and practiced their writing skills by writing the name of the shape.
