Dramatic Play

Our friends learn about themselves and also learn from others in dramatic play. They move toward cooperative-stage play as they interact and communicate about what they're doing. Dress-up play encourages teamwork and an interest in peers. The children enjoyed our new props!

We did a science experiment where Elet put an open pine cone in water to see what would happen... Can you guess? The pine cone started to close. It was so cool to watch!

As we continue our all about me unit the children created people out of clay. Playing with clay stimulates children’s imaginations. Children playing with clay can experiment with building techniques and adapt to change along the way. This type of learning promotes problem-solving skills.
