During centers today we played a letter bingo game, where the children picked a card and had to find that letter on their board that matched it, but before they did that I asked them what the letter was and what sound the letter made and for a word with that letter. The children did an amazing job! Some of the words they gave were: Elephant,fire,snake,feet,bed,dog, deer.
Today's morning greeting our friends shook hands with the person next to them and said "good morning ..."
In the picture above we recited a poem about fall and the children added in their own stanza too which was a great opportunity for emergent Literacy and vocabulary.
During Morning meeting we did a science experiment where we had a dry and wet leaf , we dropped them at the same time to see which fell down faster.
In the art center the children painted over leaves with water colors onto paper and when we took the leaves off the paper the children had a beautiful piece of art!
