Our friends drew a picture of something fun they did over break.
The children wrote their names in Hebrew.
Mendel said to Sender.. Yours is harder because it has more letters but with my other name its longer :)
The children made a store in the play area. We made a sale paper saying how much everything costs, then we made money and our friends went shopping! If something costs $6 the children knew they has to find a $5 bill and a $1 bill etc.
We also started learning how to say the snack words in Hebrew.
The children had to come up one at a time and circle the Hebrew and English letter that Morah Miriam asked them.

In the pictures above the children found the first letter of their Hebrew name and put the paper over and colored using the crayon sideways... The end picture was a beautiful paper with their Hebrew letter.
We started a new sign in!
The children will write their names and the word of the day on the board when they come in to school in the morning.
