Yesterday we had the 3's class join us while Morah Anne blew the Shofar. The children enjoyed hearing the different sounds.
The children also got to see pictures of the different animals that a shofar comes from.
Ella, Mendel and Hannah practiced their cutting skills by cutting different pictures that have to do with Rosh Hashanah
In the pictures above our friends got to taste 2 different types of apples...
Granny Smith and a Jazz. Then we went around and each child told us which one they liked better.
Thank you Sender for being the Fruit Family this week!
Today we did apple stamping!
We cut the apples a few different ways... then the kids got to stamp them in ink and made beautiful designs!
Morah Anne even cut one across so everyone can see the star in the middle of the apple.
Kayle and Henny made a fairy castle using the blocks.
