Challah/Matzah Experiment!

 Elet made a seder plate out of the clay

 Elet made the number 1000 using the numbers 0 and 100

In the pictures above our friends started sewing!

 Thank you Nechama Leiba for being the Fruit Family this week!

 We started working on our very own Hagaddah! The children are so excited to be able to have their own at their seder!

We did the first page...

The children wrote down both the Challah and Matzah recipe and compared it to see what  ingredients you use for both and whats missing in the Matzah recipe

In the morning we looked to see what happened!
Our friends guessed that the matzah wasn't going to rise because we didn't put yeast in.

They were right!

 Sara used one of the blocks as a telescope 

Our friends wrote Shabbat in hebrew

 The children drew a picture of something they enjoy about shabbat...

After discussing spring coming up in our class today, Elet held up his cookie which was in the shape of a 4 and said look! 4 days left until spring!
