Tu b'shevat is in the Air!

We started talking about Tu b'shevat which is tomorrow! The children made the Sheva Minim (the different fruits of Israel) out of clay.

Mendel made an olive

 Sara made grapes

Elet made barley

 Hilary made grapes

  The sign in question was...
Do you like to play games?

Today we had the honor of having Peretz's Bubby come into our classroom and read a book called Mommy's Heart the story is called "Sometimes mommy is busy".
She went around and asked the children whats something you see your mommy busy with?
Elet said: Laundry
Sara said: Washing the dishes
Nechama Leiba said: Cleaning
Hilary said: Cooking

Peretz wrote his hebrew name using the blocks

Thank you to the Hecht's for being the Fruit Family this week!

Our friends used the hebrew letters to write the different Sheva Minim

They did a great job!
